On Saturday Aug 24th, the Rotary Club of Nashoba Valley, held its second annual “Stuff a Cruiser” food drive, organized by Howard Kendall. Together with the support of Target Painting, Sudbury Farms supermarket, the Sudbury Police and the local community, 2 3/4 cruisers were filled with food, and almost $600.00 was collected, for the benefit of the clients of the Sudbury Community Food Pantry. These very generous donations were particularly appreciated since it came on the heels of a very busy summer.

All four elementary schools conduct a monthly food drive (during the Sept-June school year) to support the Sudbury Community Food Pantry. These schools (students, teachers, and of course parents) were particularly dedicated this June and donated 7159 items. Thanks to all, on behalf of the pantry and our clients!! This will help ensure that our shelves remain fully stocked over the summer months.
