Sudbury Demonstrates Holiday Spirit In Its November Support

Since the onset of November, we have benefitted from an outpouring of local food drives from the Sudbury Public schools, the Curtis Angels (middle school community service group) which organized a food drive outside Sudbury Farms, the LSRHS Varsity Cheer team which organized a food drive outside Shaws, Sudbury’s all-girl Boy Scout Troop 65 which collected food donations throughout their community, and Lincoln Sudbury Regional High School students who collected donations. In addition, local businesses like Bridges of Epoch and Next Generation Children’s Center collected and donated food. Many thanks to all, including the Sudbury residents who individually donated nonperishables, turkeys and pies.
Congregation Beth El and Congregation B’nai Torah Donate to Sudbury Food Pantry
Upon the heels of September’s being Hunger Awareness month, both Sudbury synagogues, Congregation Beth El and Congregation B’nai Torah, sponsored their annual food drives on October 9th. The Sudbury Community Food Pantry, being one of four nonprofit organizations to whom each of the synagogues donated food, gratefully received over 100 bags of groceries and personal care products – mostly focusing on items which are particularly popular and harder to obtain. Thank you to all who participated.
