National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive A Big Success
In response to the National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive, held on Sat. May 11th, the Sudbury community generously donated over 200 bags of groceries, providing a bounty of donations beyond anything the volunteers at the Sudbury Community Food Pantry recall seeing in prior years. Many thanks to those who donated, to the letter carriers who transported the donations, and to the volunteers who handled all the donations of food and personal products.
The Middlesex Saving Bank Awards The Sudbury Food Pantry a $20,000 Grant
The Sudbury Community Food Pantry received a very substantial financial gift of $20,000.00 from Middlesex Savings Bank — which represents part of a cumulative $1.4 million gift that its Charitable Foundation distributed to 84 non-profit community service organizations including food pantries, senior centers and libraries. The organizations received their donations at an event held on January 24, 2019 at the Middlesex Savings Bank offices in Westborough.
