Upon the heels of September’s being Hunger Awareness month, both Sudbury synagogues, Congregation Beth El and Congregation B’nai Torah, sponsored their annual food drives on October 9th. The Sudbury Community Food Pantry, being one of four nonprofit organizations to whom each of the synagogues donated food, gratefully received over 100 bags of groceries and personal care products – mostly focusing on items which are particularly popular and harder to obtain.
